Vinney Green is South Gloucestershire Council's secure children's home. It provides care, education and health support for youth justice and welfare placements, with welfare placements added in January 2026.

The April 2026 full inspection rated all assessed areas Good. Inspectors found a calmer environment, stronger care and health support, and education that helped children prepare for the future. August's monitoring visit found the environment suitable; the recommendation to make lounges and family meeting rooms more welcoming remained for review.

Monitoring visit , 04 August 2026

Monitoring found a suitable environment. The recommendation for more homely lounges and family meeting rooms remained for review. No new overall grade.
