Lansdowne is East Sussex County Council's secure welfare home in Hailsham. Care, on site education and health support are planned around each child's needs, with support to build confidence and prepare for their next home.
The June 2025 full inspection rated the home Good overall and education Good, while health provision required improvement. September's assurance inspection found no serious or widespread care or protection concerns and positive staff relationships. Work remained on consistent records, staff supervision and making shared rooms more welcoming.
