Custody inspections

Police custody inspections are usually published as force-level reports covering custody facilities operated by Northamptonshire Police, rather than as a separate report for each individual suite.

The joint custody inspection programme looks at how police forces detain people in custody, including safety, respectful treatment, legal rights, healthcare, release and transfer.

HMICFRS police custody inspection collection

These reports are part of the HMICFRS police custody inspection programme carried out with HM Inspectorate of Prisons and healthcare inspection partners.

Complaints about police custody

Complaints about this custody suite or the conduct of its officers and staff should be made through the complaints procedure for Northamptonshire Police.

Complain to Northamptonshire Police

You can alternatively submit a complaint through the Independent Office for Police Conduct, which will send it to the responsible police force. Submit a complaint through the IOPC.
