Staff who are trained to a higher level of C&R, who are deployed to support NTRG, Gold Command etc when an incident is under-way that requires additional, highly trained staff in attendance, such as the mass disturbance that broke out on four wings of HMP Birmingham, which was run by the contractor G4S, on 16th December 2016. Training includes being pelted with bricks, bottles, molotovs etc - not for those of a nervous disposition.
