Acronym

End of Custody Supervised Licence

A scheme within the Prison Service first implemented on 17 October 2023, operating in 21 prisons and is a temporary measure in response to the current pressure on some prisons. Its use is targeted, and it will only operate in certain areas for a limited period of time.
